As part of our commitment to health and wellbeing, Spectrum CIC is hosting a new Healthcheck Service to support health and social care staff across Wakefield in boosting their physical and mental health. Through this programme, we want to encourage our local workforce to ‘take action’ about their health. Each Health Check includes:

  • A 1:1 appointment with one of our trained Health Coaches
  • A series of physical health checks (including blood pressure, heart rate, lung function, cholesterol, blood glucose readings and Body Mass Index)
  • A personalised Health Report and links to organisations that can help you on your health journey

Anyone can benefit from a Healthcheck – whether you’re looking to make long-term changes or would just like a few simple tips on adopting a healthier lifestyle.

How to book an appointment

All Healthchecks are provided by our trained Health Coaches based in Spectrum’s Head Office, Navigation Walk – take a look at “How to Find Us” for details of how to reach our office.

To book your Health and Wellbeing Check, sign up using our online form. A member of our Health and Wellbeing team will be in touch to book your appointment, and we will then email you a pre-assessment Wellbeing Questionnaire. When you answer this, please be as honest as you can – your data will be kept confidential and the more accurate you can be, the more we can tailor our advice and support.
