Spectrum’s Chief Executive joins top SME Leaders 20

Spectrum’s Chief Executive, Dr Linda Harris OBE, has been named amongst the SME Leaders 20!

The SME Leaders 20 (Small and Medium Enterprises) is a ‘leaderboard of business excellence’ created to identify and celebrate the achievements of individual and business leadership teams before, during and as we come out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Judges were looking for evidence of strong leadership, flexibility, innovation and resilience, showcased by year-or-year business growth or development in emerging markets.

Over 10 years, Spectrum has pursued an ambitious growth strategy; expanding into new markets, winning and retaining healthcare contracts, embarking on ambitious transformation projects and spearheading innovation and research.

Growth and Resilience

Linda was nominated for her work as the founding Chief Executive of Spectrum CIC, which in just 10 years has grown across all of our key business areas and increased our workforce from around 100 to 800 staff. Our established business markets are:

  • Health and Justice – providing healthcare services across 13 secure sites
  • Sexual Health – leading Integrated Sexual Health Services in three districts
  • Community Substance Misuse – working in partnership in 5 regions

Announcing the winners, panel judges said, “We were hugely impressed with all the entries, which showed clear evidence of strength, innovation, adaptability and resilience across a wide range of sectors and markets. Many congratulations to everyone who made it into our SME Leaders 20 – you have shown that you have got what it takes to be a great leader.”
