Substance Misuse Services
COVID-19 & Substance Misuse Services
In our substance misuse services, Spectrum staff are limiting face-to-face contact by providing telephone appointments and striving to ensure continued access to care and prescribed medication. We are also supporting service users who may be self-isolating and urging anyone in a vulnerable or ‘at risk’ group for coronavirus not to come into clinic. To find out more, please contact your local service directly:
Whether you’re worried about yourself or want to help a friend or family member who might be struggling, Spectrum’s substance misuse teams can help. Working with our partners across Yorkshire and the North of England, Spectrum provides:
- advice on safer drinking and reducing your alcohol intake
- support with clinical alcohol detoxification
- substitute prescribing
- relapse prevention support and medication
- wellbeing screening and vaccinations for blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
Our aim is to help individuals to be free from alcohol and/or drug addiction and regain control of their lives. For more advice, please visit our Do you have a problem? page. You can also find out about our regional services below.
Please note: In response to the current outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), all Spectrum services are providing telephone appointments in an effort to reduce face-to-face contact. Please DO NOT come into clinic directly – if you need support, call your local service first to arrange a telephone consultation. Thank you.
