Temporary Service Reduction
In order to protect patients, staff and members of the public during the current outbreak of Coronavirus,Spectrum Community Health is now running a reduced service at this clinic. These changes are in line with national guidance and are vital to ensure that vulnerable patients are protected from COVID-19.
Keeping in touch
We will be keeping in touch with patients via text message and you can follow our social media accounts online for the latest updates and information
Clinic Information
The following services are suspended with immediate effect:
- All Walk-In Clinics, including Youth clinics
- All monthly /bi-monthly clinics in Pontefract, Castleford , Normanton and South Kirkby
- The “Test No Talk” service
- All sexual health outreach
We are working hard to continue providing care throughout the outbreak, including through facilitating postal STI testing and telephone appointments. We will ensure that patients living with HIV can still access medication and that prescribing is not disrupted.
What this means for you

If a face-to-face consultation is necessary (for example,if you are displaying STI symptoms or need injectable forms of contraception)we will arrange a face-to-face appointment as soon as practically possible.
