Got Gonorrhoea?

There’s only one way to find out – get tested!

For more info or to have a confidential chat about STIs, contact one of our clinics in Wakefield, Barnsley or Wigan and Leigh.

Anyone who is sexually active can easily catch or spread this infection if they aren’t using condoms. Spectrum provide condoms for free to 16-25 year olds – so think twice before having unprotected sex.

Gonorrhoea can also be passed through anal and oral sex – not just sexual intercourse.

You could have Gonorrhoea and not even know it…

It’s important to know that some people get STI symptoms within 1-14 days and others don’t. Symptoms can many months to show any visible signs, by which point the infection could have spread to other parts of your body.

If you ‘caught’ Gonorrhoea from unprotected sex, these are the more common symptoms to look out for:

  • Unusual discharge from the vagina/penis
  • Pain when passing urine
  • Lower abdomen/testicle pain or tenderness
