The data controller for information collected as part of this trial is Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Over the course of this trial we will collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
  • Basic health information

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for when you register your interest to participate in this trial.

We will collect additional information from you to perform eligibility and screening checks, and in order to book your appointment to take part in the trial.

This trial is being carried out in partnership with Spectrum Community Health CIC, and it may be necessary for information to be shared between the organisations to support these processing activities.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

(e) We need it to perform a public task.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on UK-based servers.

We will keep any information you provide for the duration of the trial. We will then dispose your information by securely deleting it from our servers.
