We’re delighted to share that two Spectrum staff are finalists for the Nursing Times Workforce Awards – Cluster Manager Belinda Loftus and Emma Newlove, Clinical lead for North Yorkshire Horizons. Our finalists will face each in the same category tonight, “Nurse Manager of the Year”!

Belinda

Belinda was nominated for her diverse and varied contribution to nursing across her career, including her early experiences in the Army and her achievements since moving into Sexual Health, as well as helping to integrate and develop Spectrum’s community sexual health services in Wakefield, Barnsley and Wigan and Leigh. Belinda is a fantastic ambassador for nursing and regularly shares best practice and outcomes from our projects within the Sexual Health Provider Network.

Emma

Emma was shortlisted for her tireless efforts in helping our North Yorkshire Horizons service to maintain their “Outstanding” CQC rating and continue providing vital support for vulnerable people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

She has also contributed to the learning and development of nurses and has worked hard to build and bolster partnership relationships across North Yorkshire.

The Nursing Times Workforce Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 2nd December.
