Inspiring Recovery, the Wakefield substance misuse service, has been rated “Good” across all five quality standards assessed by the Care Quality Commission.
The substance misuse service is delivered by Turning Point in partnership with Spectrum and was inspected by the CQC in November 2019. In their official report, inspectors praised the service for involving clients in their own care, supporting them to build networks with family members and treating them with dignity, respect and kindness. “Staff involved clients in care planning and risk assessment and actively sought their feedback on the quality of care provided. They ensured that clients had easy access to additional support.”
Inspectors also praised leadership of the service, adding; “Leaders had the skills, knowledge and experience to perform their roles, had a good understanding of the services they managed, were visible in the service and approachable for clients and stuff.”
