Transform Research Alliance
In 2016, Spectrum became the host for the Transform Research Alliance (TRA), an alliance of 11 social enterprise healthcare organisations providing NHS-funded care across England.
The TRA work with social enterprises and external partners (including Social Enterprise UK, University of Huddersfield, Northampton University) to improve research and governance within the social enterprise sector.
There are numerous ongoing research projects taking part within the TRA members aimed at improving services (e.g. lowering waiting times for psychological services), implementing new interventions (e.g. peer-led interventions in prisons) and understanding the social enterprise sector (e.g. identifying the barriers to research engagement).
