Protect Against STIs Campaign
The Public Health England Protect against STIs campaign was launched in December 2017 and continues to promote condom use and STI testing.
YouGov revealed in a survey of 2,007 young people, that 47% of those sexually active said they didn’t use a condom when having sex with someone new for the first time; whilst 1 in 10 sexually active young people said that they had never used a condom.
This campaign is focused on educating young people on STIs and directing them to clinics, free resources and information. Please visit the website for more information: https://www.nhs.uk/protect-against-stis-use-a-condom/home
