Bike Project Volunteers

Why we need you

Spectrum People provides a range of activities to support vulnerable people across Wakefield district. We need support with organising and running the activities. This role is specifically about supporting our bike project – helping staff with the set-up of bikes and equipment, closing the unit (including checking all tools and equipment are put away) after each session and generally making attendees feel comfortable. There are likely to be other activities involved and the qualified staff present will explain these.

This volunteer support provides successful applicants with an opportunity to develop their experience and skills, in addition to helping provide peer support to service users. The bike project support role is based at Reflections Housing Association in Castleford and runs on a Tuesday and Thursday.
