Over the last few weeks we have received some very exciting news here at Spectrum Community Health. Not only have we received an industry accolade but we have also been shortlisted for two regional business awards.
To receive endorsement and acknowledgement for what you have achieved is always very welcome and means a lot but for this to happen during your first year (and a bit) of trading is exceptional.
Just recently our team of wellbeing nurses, who work with vulnerable adults recovering from addiction to drugs and alcohol in their own communities, received national acclaim from the British Journal of Nursing when they were awarded second prize within the innovation category.
In the last few weeks we have also been shortlisted for two regional awards, the first being the Yorkshire Business Masters co-ordinated by the Business Desk. Our nomination sits within the newcomer category and we will find out this week whether we have secured the title (keep everything crossed for us!).
We have also been shortlisted for a Community Enterprise Award in this year’s Wakefield District Business Awards, we will find out if we have been successful next week.
To get this far in these awards is great news for our team who work extremely hard to support individuals during what can be a very difficult time.
Well done everyone for contributing to a new, dynamic organisation which is already turning heads throughout our industry, locally and beyond.
